Ooh, that's a good one! It reminds me of Aggressor's Cross Point - telling an original story twisted out of the Index/Railgun saga. (Index, Railgun & more = Шепот Ливня - Дистанция) Even though the song is in Russian, the story comes across just fine.

Hee! If you want another bizarre combination, how about Elfen-Lied = Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World? Choco's masterpiece of black humor:

Krozam, that Princess Tutu video is excellent, also great at drawing you in to want to watch the anime.

When it comes to Minami-ke, Kostoprav's Clarissa has to be my fave. It succeeded in making me curious enough to watch the show. (Minami-ke = Mindless Self Indulgence - Clarissa)

Yeah, I was debating that myself. However, the justification I'll use is that the anime/video part of a given filesize is much larger than the space needed for the music. So I put it in anime.  :D

I've been a fan of AMVs for years, and like some people have favorite seiyuu's I have favorite AMV editors. While there is a lot of eye cancer out on the web, there are also some incredibly well put-together videos. Like people's tastes in music, the "best" AMVs also depend on your preferences.

What are some of your favorite AMVs?

Here are three of mine:
Ileia's The Cyrus Virus (Summer Wars = Miley Cyrus - Party in the USA) is hilarious - the best in my eyes for funny AMVs.
Aggressor's De:Light (Shikabane Hime = Blue Stahli - The Pure and the Tainted) has amazing action and synchronization.
Nostromo's Auriga (Various = DJ Spoke - Watch Them Fall Down) is an excellent atmospheric piece, if light on story.

Anime / Re: Your Favourite Anime Seiyuu (Voice Actors)

I'm getting to the point where I'm recognizing seiyuus more often from show to show and going "Oh cool! That's the seyuu that did [that character]", but I don't focus on them too much.

However, I nearly always instantly pick up on Atsuko Tanaka's voice wherever she is. Ghost in the Shell was one of my early formative series and I loved her work as Motoko Kusanagi. Rie Kugimiya and Satomi Arai also make my ears perk up.
