So, I have had fun here at Doki. Cbox convos have been good, minecraft was fun, bitch about commie as always.

But like all good things this all has to end. I voice my opinion, all be it naive, that I found the H-scenes in Katawa Shoujo weird namely because I find the fetish associated with it weird. Now coming into this conversation I didn't know much about the VN and asked if it was an H-game which I was promptly told that it was, which apparently it isn't, so I took issue with the idea that there would be an H-Game based on disabilities. Not because I have issue with people with disabilities but because again, I find the fetish of it all weird.

Now granted the beginning of my conversation was in the general jackassery tone that usual cbox convos have with the fagface and the rude comments but apparently this VN is considered one of the untouchables so everything is taken literally and now I do regret that in hindsight. When I had realized that in fact it was not an H-Game but a love story I attempted to back track, but this was only seen as weakness and the attacks intensified. But I feel that the response I got from Cbox was unacceptable, even for cbox standards, and I acted accordingly just as unacceptably.

So this is were I make my leave from the community. I no longer watch anime, I do not read manga, or play VNs. This was a long drawn leave I should have taken a while ago. I might come back, I honestly would like to go back to the good old days but I feel like those days are long past and as much as I would enjoy being back I don't think I would enjoy being back. I am sure some of you will say good riddance, and trust me the feeling is mutual, for others I do wish you the best and hate to see it end like this. I feel like things will only get worse so I am cutting my loses now.

I wasn't expecting to get as many players as quick as this, and I may or may not be going on vacation for a week starting tomorrow, family complications and BS blah blah blah. So here is the starting map with the first five people.

Hello Doki,

So I have been thinking/planning this game out for a while and I decided to do a beta run here on the forums to see how well it works out.

Basically here is how it goes from the map below you pick a single province (Download the map mark the top three territories you want and PM the pic back to me) provinces are first come first serve.

Once you have a province you will have 1000 citizens and enough food for 1050 citizens, and your population will increase +5 (default) per day (real time)

For every 1k (1000) Citizens you get to make one decision of your own choice. Examples being: Exploring territory, building roads, making weapons, expanding farm land, ext.

And the outcomes of these choices will be made at random (with statistical balances)

Some territories have pros and cons like having great iron production, but horrible food production (null if starting location)

Now here comes some more fun customization, you get to choose your own government system each of which having their own pros and cons but you get to decide how your people are ruled. Be careful to notice that more authoritarian rule creates a higher likelihood for revolt but you make more money, the opposite for more free democratic like governments.

And finally even though you will be playing against other Doki members I will be placing the hand of god down on the map every now and then, mongol hordes, plagues, famine, ext (at random)


Here is the map, I plan to start once we reach 10-15 people, late comers to the game are completely welcome but should be wary.


PS all decisions should be PM'd to me, I will continuously post pics of the map and updates for territories.

P.s.s don't forget to pick a name for your territory, what you choose WILL have an outcome. Names can always be changed so naming your land the Grand Dutch Empire of Mexico while you are in Turkey will have negative effects

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai

First of all... wtf, long title.

I found it to be an enjoyable anime, with the key feature of realistic and relatable characters which added to the real feel of this anime. While I do find the usually characters in anime to be extremely enjoyable this was a great change of pace to see anime characters who actually 1. acted human and 2. I could imagine being real people.

However the story I found dragged on a bit too much. It seemed to self-glorify the way it stretched out its episodes having minimal levels of character development. By the end I can say that the overall development of the characters was well done, but could have been done so in half the time.

I did like the story, was interesting reminded me of  so that is never a bad thing. The ending I have issues with, mainly because it kept dodging around how it actually wanted to end, eventually settling for a contrived "feel good" and cheesy finale.

9/10

*I would have given it an 8.5 but the creativity and quality of the opening made me give it another .5*


P.s. don't expect me to post here often, I just did it so Krozam would stfu on cbox about being the only one to post here
