Ugh... Now I have to take 9001 pictures lol.

Awesome collection btw! About that small Madoka package in the middle. Is that a phone cover of sorts? Or card sleeves?

Edit: I want to post some images, but I haven't taken photos of every aspect of my collection... So, hopefully, I can hold you off with this Mahjong set that I bought after completing Saki! (Go watch Saki! Doki's releasing the DVD! It's really good! You don't even need to know how to play!)

My collection mostly looks like actual anime DVD's and posters on my wall. I don't think I can really post it...

My display shelf has too much non-anime stuff for me to post a shot of that either ;_;

The plural form of anime is "anime", not "animes" in my opinion. "Animes" sounds really weird.

A Dango (Clannad) I bought at Anime Boston 2010.

I posted this already, but it's still part of my collection, so why not. It's so cute it deserves to be posted twice. xD

I don't worry too much about Anime and Animes, we don't pronounce the s of plural in french xD

I use the singular as a plural for most Japanese. Anime. Yukata. Stuff like that.

Tho I agree... It's like the word "Jedi" its plural formal is "Jedi" it doesn't change and it's okay like that.

The games for XBOX are Tomoyo After and Halo :P
Some Kanon and Clannad music, I think.

Lets play a game, Doki Legion.  A 'general image board' game, that is.

I'm going to post some pictures of the contents of the package I just got from Japan.  The pictures will show an item in its full bubble wrapping (which is often so thick the item is shrouded in secrecy).  If you are able to guess an item in the package I received, I will provide you with a karma boost.  I'll reveal the actual contents of my package either later today or tomorrow.

Everyone ready to guess?  Have at it.

Okay. Lets do this...

A Kanon sound track?

The second item looks like a hard cover picture book of sorts. Maybe a Clannad Art Book?

I'm pretty sure those are chopsticks.

That looks like it's been wrapped as if it were a stuffed animal. Maybe it's Botan :3

The Clannad Light Novel?

One game is Halo, the other is Clannad: Tomoya After: It's A Wonderful Life -- I HAVE THE SONG.

Something to do with Botan. Maybe a mask?

I can't tell. The blue hair on one looks Kotomi related though.

The next too look like grocery bags. -_- (Yea, I said it. Although I'm serious. I can't see through them)

Okay, that last ones shaped like a DVD. Is it.. The Clannad Movie?

hum, hard hard for me...

Is there some Key audio CDs, like radio CDs you were talking about earlier?

Tomoyo After or some kind of VN for xbox 360 concerning Tomoyo :P

There seems to be a halo 1 - first xbox - japanese version (dating from when the 360 didn't exist cause there is the "for xbox only" tag) :P that seems nice!

maybe a Clannad Light Novel? featuring Nagisa?

Some chopsticks? :P

OK, that's enough guesses.  Thanks to those who posted and messaged me.  heyman, Infinity Stream, & Pitchblack guessed multiple items correct and received karma compensation (+2 apiece).

Time to put on a new pair of gloves.  Can never be too careful dealing with collectables!
(http://i.imgur.com/0DQ00l.jpg) (http://imgur.com/0DQ00.jpg)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(http://i.imgur.com/S3tqSl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/S3tqS.jpg)
Lets start with the obvious first; a Japanese copy of Halo: Combat Evolved was included in item picture six.  (For those of you that play Halo, can you imagine how the Japanese Master Chief sounds? or for that matter, Sgt. Johnson???)

(http://i.imgur.com/N40oHl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/N40oH.jpg)
Also included in item picture six was a copy of Tomoyo After: Its a Wonderful Life CS for Xbox 360.  Surrounding the game are two official manga: 'CLANNAD ~tomoyo dearest~' & 'CLANNAD: tomoyo after ~dear shining memories~'.  (Why must TA be so sad??)

(http://i.imgur.com/ZY4uzl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/ZY4uz.jpg)
Those who guessed 'art book' were partially correct.  Included were copies of 'CLANNAD Rough Note' and 'pre-CLANNAD'.

(http://i.imgur.com/yx8Zyl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/yx8Zy)
... 'CLANNAD memorial TV Animation Visual Fan Book' and 'CLANNAD ~After Story~ TV Animation Visual Fan Book'...

(http://i.imgur.com/1Gdcpl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/1Gdcp.jpg)
... and for good measure 2 copies of the Clannad (VN) Visual Fan Book.  (I'm giving one away as a gift.)

(http://i.imgur.com/rofY7l.jpg) (http://imgur.com/rofY7.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/g87EYl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/g87EY.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/aKmW6l.jpg) (http://imgur.com/aKmW6.jpg)
I was surprised so many people from C-Box had trouble with these since the covers were partially displayed. These are 1st 'limited' edition copies of Kanon & Clannad, complete with original game, art book, and accompanying soundtrack.  (I'm giving the CLANNAD copy away to a friend as well.  Lucky!)

(http://i.imgur.com/EykeMl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/EykeM.jpg)
Two of the Key albums distributed at events, packaged in giant sized 'pamphlets' which are more like 18 page super-sized picture books.  Included are the 'Key Memorial Fes' (2CD) and 'KSL Live World 2010 way to the Kud Wafter Pamphlet'.  Known to Forum & C-Box respondants as 'chopsticks'. XD

(http://i.imgur.com/vn7vLl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/vn7vL.jpg)
'CLANNAD: Official Another Story' follows the extended routes found on the Xbox 360 version of the Clannad Visual Novel.  It is larger than it appears, just as large as the ~AS~ Fan Book.  I'm excited to finally get a copy of this; its not particularly rare, but I never got a copy until now.

(http://i.imgur.com/lSS1Jl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/lSS1J.jpg)
The 'CLANNAD: Official Another Story Picture Book' is about the size of a small manga

(http://i.imgur.com/Cphfpl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/Cphfp.jpg)
Most people don't even know that these exist unless they look them up. These are the anthology character novels for Clannad & Kanon (the 2nd), while the third book contains a collection of short stories from Kanon & Air.  All three books were granted licenses from Key.

(http://i.imgur.com/3XXKIl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/3XXKI.jpg)
Wonderthree is a 3 volume manga which explores the Kanon universe in an alternate timeline... one where Yuichi remembers everything that happened in the town seven years before.  Granted a license by Key and written by a co-author of the Kanon VN, I figured it was worth a look.

(http://i.imgur.com/XwG48l.jpg) (http://imgur.com/XwG48.jpg)
You know what?  I've never owned an N64.  However, my friend has been on a quest for years to find this game in the US (he doesn't trust eBay sellers).  I'm gunna' give it to him for his birthday next month.

(http://i.imgur.com/hR1m8l.jpg) (http://imgur.com/hR1m8.jpg)
So that round bubble wrap thing?  Yeah, that contained my new SUPER-SIZED-SAKE (SSS) Cup.  It will be the only thing I drink out of from now on.  ;)

Now comes the impossible to guess items... the (really) good stuff!

Coming out of the white package with blue text was....

(http://i.imgur.com/OMvLPl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/OMvLP.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/GyU9ll.jpg) (http://imgur.com/GyU9l.jpg)
... the 'Little Buster's Analog Collector's Edition'!  Only 500 of these vinyl records were made by Key; I'm thrilled that I was able to find one for sale.

All that leaves left is the package I almost threw out... I would have missed it if not for the Hello Kitty stamps.  In fact, thats all I was thinking about when I began pulling out my final item...

(http://i.imgur.com/wR3Afl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/wR3Af.jpg)
... and then I saw the sides, and I literally kicked myself for forgetting about what I had searched so long for...

(http://i.imgur.com/VQJyvl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/VQJyv.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/Kj3OCl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/Kj3OC.jpg)

... the 'Key 10th Memorial Score'.  The rarest item Key has ever released to the public, sealed & untouched, the very item I had been trying to obtain for years.   ;D

In a sense, I am thrilled to have obtained both of these items.  I want to open them and view them and play them as I had always hoped to do.  However, once I open these items their value (may) drop substantially due to their rarity.  So I ask, my friends... what should I do?   :-\

Thank you for the applause, Infinity!  The game is 'Virtual Pro Wrestling 2' for N64.  (I think that's the one you meant; if you mean another one just let me know.)  My friend is a huge professional wrestling fan, and he wanted that one for quite awhile.

As for the Key score collection, yeah, I have it!  It the most difficult item I've ever tried to obtain because the print run was so limited.  I REALLY want to open it up, but as of yet, I still haven't done so.  The same goes for the Little Busters! Analog Collectors Edition and the 10th Memorial Fes Anniversary Pamphlet.  I admit, even though I want to enjoy these items to their fullest, I would feel very, very guilty for doing so.  Its strange, but it almost feels like by owning a copy of these I have an obligation to collectors not to open them.

ixlone, I feel your pain!

I have a somewhat interesting 'after story' regarding these items, if anyone cares and has the time to read a few paragraphs.  I had just gotten off of work and was preparing to go home on the bus.  While I was waiting at the stop I overheard a girl talking about Romeo & Juliet (probably had a class she had to read it for)... and then some nonsense about vampires and zombies (what, a Twilight knockoff is out already?)... and then something about looking for a flower she didn't remember the name of... Wait a second.  Why do these all sound familiar?... I could have sworn someone I knew was talking about the same things just the other day.  Many people, in fact.  Its as if..w8... yes! That's it!  Those are anime!  But would a girl really be talking about these shows in public, just outside of my downtown workplace?

I opened up my eyes (I was half asleep at the time), tilted my head and said, "You're talking about 'Ano Hana', aren't you?  And 'Zombie Desu ka' and other anime, right?"  She nodded in delight, happy to see someone who understood what she was talking about.  :)  Apparently, she is the head of a local university's anime society and was attempting to convince a prospective student to join by describing the shows they planned on screening at a nearby auditorium/viewing hall.  They talked for a bit, and I'd join in on occasion.  Eventually she got around to describing what her group was looking forward to the most; an anime convention was coming to town, and she was one of the people responsible for setting up booths for merchants and special guests.  The girl suggested that the guy go (he had agreed to join the society at that point) and said I should go too.  I responded by saying I had never attended one before (hey guys, don't smite me for that, OK? I'm really busy most of the time!) but might go if they had some music or collectables on sale.

At that point she emphasized that they would be selling a bunch of items and asked what I collected.  I mentioned that I was trying to compile a complete collection of 'Key' brand music and was looking for a few obscure albums to finish my collection, and also that I had just purchased an unopened vinyl and scorebook I had been searching a long time for.  It was at this point I began to feel slightly uncomfortable; the girl's expression had changed from excited to stern.  >:(  "Did I say something wrong?" I wondered.  ???  She clarified the albums I claimed to have purchased.  I said, "Yeah, that's right."  She began to get angrier, demanding, "Show me!," taking the laptop resting on her male companion's lap and shoving it onto mine across the isle.  As awkward stares began to gaze in our direction, her eyes stayed fixed on mine.  I looked over to the guy (I'm sure I had a very puzzled look on my face) and could tell our thoughts were similar, something along the lines of, "Who does this girl think she is?  Does this scene really exist outside of anime/manga?  And why is her face so red?"  :o  I told her that I don't have time to blog but that I posted a few picture of the items online.  So I pulled up Doki, navigated to this very page and told her it was the best I could do.  After scrolling down the page and intently looking at the items, she changed her expression back to excited.  "You REALLY should come to our convention.  We'd love to put these items on display!  We'd give you a booth with a glass case at no charge!"  ;D  At her insistence, I gave out a number she could reach me at and am currently waiting for an update.  I'm still not sure if I will go (I'm not a fan of showcasing items), but its certainly a possibility I will have a few rare items from my collection on display at an upcoming anime convention.  If nothing else, it was interesting to meet someone who shared such a passion for anime shows & collectables.

Sorry for the long winded story.  I just found the whole situation very unusual, lol!  :o

BTW Ix, is that a complete set of Keyrings?  Where did you get those items from?
Title: Re: Post your collection!
Post by: InfinityStream on September 18, 2011, 02:04:53 am
You should have two conditions if you're showcasing them.

1) The products can only be taken out at your consent.
1A) Person who wants to touch them must answer rigorous questions about Key.

2) The glass case must be guarded at all times by people and laser detection systems. Throw in a tazer if you feel like it.

... Of course, this is my personal opinion... xD

Still, it's pretty awesome to find stuff like that. The head of the anime club at our school is an idiot. Can't even tell me what Key IS! He's an uber shounen freak that uses the club to get Shonen Jump.

... I want an anime club like that T.T

Nice story Clannad Man, i never meet anyone who knows anything about anime :(

As for the keyrings, not a complete collection, i just pick the ones of characters i like. I get all my stuff from HobbyLink Japan (http://www.hlj.com/), haven't let me down yet with shipping and the prices are especially nice (keep your eye on the early bird page, you can get 5-10% off new items if you pre-order them!) so i'd recommend them to other people.
Title: Re: Post your collection!

@Infinity - If I do go, the items aren't going to leave my sight.  I'm not going to risk having anyone pull a fast one on me!  You should run for your school's anime club president if he isn't doing his job.  Tell him you'll still let him get his Shonen Jump and he might even give you the position! XD

@Ix - Thanks!  I'll need to check out that site.  Outside of eBay and Yahoo! Auctions Japan I don't really use a lot of websites to look for goods, so if I can find some stuff I'm looking for on there at a fair price I'll be ecstatic!

I might post some pictures of my collection in a couple of days. I didn't know we had a topic like this.

This here is actually a bit old as it was from the mid June. I'll post some pictures from my Comic 1 loot as soon as I get a minuet to take some.

- A couple of card sleeves that I used to protect my moekana cards
- Mashiro iro Symphony BD vol5
- Horizon BD vol6
- 2 visual novels (with extras) (1 bought, 1 from auction)
- a visual fan book

Right! Here goes! All I have available to take pictures with though is my crappy 5 pixel cellphone camera, so apologies in advance for the poor quality. I snuck 3 game related items in there because I really like them. 'Course, I have a lot of other game and movie related merchandise, but that's not what this topic is about. I also have some Bleach and Naruto items, but I won't bore you with those. Some wallscrolls of mine also aren't included, as I don't feel like going to the effort of taking them out and hanging them up. There will be a lot of Type-Moon stuff, so if for some reason you don't like that...Too bad. ; ) I'm also just going to pretend you are all ignorant, even with the famous series, and include the name of the work the items are from/based on. ; ) The pictures are too big to fit full size in the post, so they are in thumbnail size. Just click a picture to see it in full size. Here's my DVD and magazine collections. Sorry for the poor light on the latter, it's int he corner (due to lack of space), and I don't have a flash.

The rest of the anime is on the 3 HDDs. Don't ask for a pick of the manga, it's basically the entirety of the space under my bed. And the shelving next to it...

Well, I live at home at the moment, so I can't really use the oppai mouse pad even if I wanted too, and even then, I don't really fancy the whole wedding dress deal, or her expression. I'm also more of a Sekai type of person...And I don't much care for the keychain thing either. But I mostly bought the CE because I like the cover art better anyway, so it's all good. ( ̄ー ̄)

Ah, those two Debonosu VN's, I just recently found their rather good CG sets...

The visula fan books contains a Cd with a mini game. The mini game is actually just a set of 4 H-scenes that aren't included in the original game. There's also the Comic Market released mini game. Debonosu releases are often like that. When you buy the original game there's always some extra goods that you can get related to that came that offer extra CG. Sometimes those extra CG are offered in the form of patches the company releases.

It is hard to get a full CG set from the internet that way. I've played an older game released under Yamamoto Kazue's previous comany: Tokino Senka. That CG set is easy to find and is the normal rip from the disk but several patches were released for that game that added new maps/missions. The CG from those missions are in none of the packs you'll find on the internat as people just don't care or don't have time to upload them.

The thing with the patches was that the extra maps/missions were so hard that you couldn't clear them unless you maxed out all you characters stats and had enough money to send out the larges possible army but there's was a trick to do this. You couldn't just replay the game with your last save as you wouldn't get any new skill points in this replay save. You has to choose to reset your game. You would then start the game over with a percentage of extra free skill points based on the total skill points you had when you cleared the game.

So you had to clear the came several time and reset you save each time to build up those skill points you get at the start. Finally when you were able to max out all the stats you hard to replay the completed game 1 or 2 extra time to acumulate enough money (as money was only carried over in a replay and not in a reset save). All this took me about 8 reset games and 2 replay games but I was able to complete 100% of the game and get all CG and H-scenes.

Truely one of the best eroge ever played.

Anyway time for some pictures:

Here's my C82 stuff. Didn't get much this time around as I had to set some money aside for the Seinarukana Special Edition that will be released end September.

As usual I want got the Debonosu goods set. I wanted the 2 dakimakura covers as well, but auction prices were huge. Last time they released dakimakura covers (I think it was at C78) there was a 2nd production announced so I hope that will happen this time as well.

Other regular loot is the Tinkle set and the WNB set. As a little bonus I got the Mashiro Iro Simphony visula fan book (contains illustrations from both the original game and the port)

And got this as well last week (normal AmiAmi order):

(http://forums.fansub.co/Smileys/default/erio.bmp) Erio daki. While I was buying this, there was a woman complaining about how creepy it was having naked lolis on display, the guy had covered up the sensitive areas with masking tape lol. He was like "I just work here, but yeah it's kind of creepy". Mean while... I'm just stood there flicking through them all going "pfft, creepy :(" Soon took my £45 for the one I wanted though.

:kirino: Kirino scroll, my first purchase. Cos I was carrying this around people at stalls kept spotting the little picture on the package and kept trying to push kiniro figures and various hentai related stuff at me!

I had no luck, i couldnt even work out where i had downloaded it from.
The english patch installed and now i have its icon taunting me on my desktop.

I think it may be easier if i just remove everything and try again but i would prefer a copy that doesnt have these problems (this attempted install almost drove me insane)

I believe you downloaded it from erogedownload, right here: http://erogedownload.com/downloads/little-busters/  ;-)  But yes, I'm pretty sure the problem is either the fact that you deleted the REALLIVE.exe, or, like you said, there is a problem with the copy of the game itself (maybe the REALLIVE.exe included is buggy). Because I'm quite sure it's not the patch.

I got the patch from there but i may have gotten the game from bakabt (tried to go through my old torrents to see where it was from but it was all a mess)
I am sure its an error with the game, its annoying because i'm holding off watching the anime until i play the game (missing out twice over)  :mavis:

Those are B2 size PET clear posters from Toypla. They're a few years old now. They were first released around the time "Really? Really!" came out.

It is the Visual Fan Book for both the first and latter tale. Both in 1 paperback book. Released by enterbrain.
The other ef book in the picture is smaller but is the Art Works book.

I also just realized that shawurai almost buys more stuff than all the rest of us put together lol. :P The majority of pics in this thread are from him and Ixlone.

I'm currently expecting a bunch of artbooks and magazines, a VN, a VN fighting game, and a figure to arrive eventually, but I don't know when, as it depends on the speed of the shipping (and the figure has been delayed for a month now, and has not been sent yet...I also preordered it in October lol...). I'll post pictures of them when I get them. There's also one artbook I already have that I forgot to post pictures of in my first post with all the pictures, so I'll include that as well. Maybe I'll bend the rules a little and post just a few pics of some of the game related stuff I have as well. :P Like the ultra-rare Zelda wallscroll I have that isn't available for sale anywhere (and never was). :D

That's a lot of dakimakura covers. I'm wondering. How do you organise them? Do you stack them up or do you place them in special bags or boxes on shelves? I'm asking since I also have an important number (haven't made a count in a while now) of dakimakura covers but I haven't found any satisfying way to organise them. I just stack them up. Not easy to find a specific one when needed.

Seeing that you have a lot of them, I cound use a fellow collector's advice.

I don't really have a good way of organizing them yet :P Right now, I have a large plastic box where they all fit stacked up, but since getting one out is becoming troublesome, I plan to get a bunch of smaller airtight plastic boxes and stack them on a shelf.

shawurai, ever considered adding some tags with names/descriptions to the plastic bags? A small sheet of paper on a short string put through hole in the bag, or even just a post-it note. These should make searching a lot easier.

2 pacakges this week:

Dengeki Moeoh (June 2013)
Comes with Ro-Kyu-Bu clear files

eroge stuff:

1  visual fanbook with additional scenarios from Kurenai Kagura, 1 vocal CD, latest Debonosu eroge, 1 A3 size tapestry and 3 telephone cards (2 for the vocal CD and 1 from the eroge)

The book has been damages at the back when customs checked the package. I submitted a complaint at the postal service and am waiting for an update. Changes to get a bit of my money back are very slim. I've had this happen before. Damage to 2 eroge boxes (about 900 Yen a piece) and they only wanted to pay me 25 EUR (total) as they claimed that the postal services aren't at fault and complaining to customs would not help. I hate Belgium cuntoms for this. They are way to brutal with package checks and you even have to pay the clearance fee after they damages your goods. What good is there to shipping with EMS when you can't even get you money back when the goods are damages durring a customs check?! :(

Problem is last time they said that damage to goods has to be confirmed by your local post office when you get they package. So you have to actually open the package as soon as you get it and check for damage to the goods. If you don't do this the postal services can't cover for any damages. The problem is that when you do and they confirm the damage they still can't help you as they don't have a complaint form for you as they post office and they can't even do it with their computer as the menu for it isn't in their program. You actually have to go home and fill in the form on the internet and send it to the client support mail :(

That sucks. I've yet to have a package arrive in bad condition, or even opened and checked by customs. I guess it depends where you buy them from. I usually get mine from HLJ, they are pretty well known to customs apparently, the packaging probably gets it through customs easier than some random parcel in generic plain box.

Damage to the book I got with my previous package ended with some good news. Postal service in Belgium said damage wasn't their fault and that I couldn't prove this. So basically, they didn't care or want to help me. I had pictures of the damn box that was closed again with their packing tape clearly saying "EMS Brussels" and a letter from them that says they opened it for inspection and where they ask me to confirm the goods inside. They can just blow up for all I care.

I ended up sending 1 mail to Japan (proxy service) and they took care of everything. I got my money back 1 day after the mail was send.

For the better news now. I got a package at the post office again (as always it got inspected again). This time no damage.

One of my last loots of this month. The only thing missing is TLRD Vol.6 that's still in transit.
So here we have.

A couple of manga (french) that I bought yesterday.

2 Dengeki Hime magazines and Cielo artbook that arrived last monday.

Dengeki Otona no Moeoh vol.2 magazine (this is the more ecchi version of the regular Dengeki Moeoh magazines)
Small Furifure 2 fanbook
Eshi 100 vol.3

For those that don't know the Eshi 100. These are artbooks with 100 illustrations in them from 100 different artists. For all I know they are only sold at the art exibit that has the same name and that is held once a year. The best thing however is that the books are completely bilingual (JP + ENG).
If you ever get the chance to buy one of these, do so. They are worth it!!

I'd like to post pictures of all the stuff I bought at the London Comic Con last month, all the stuff I bought over the web some months before that, and some stuff I forgot in my initial collection post, but Imageshack really sucks...Can any of you tell me of a good place to upload pictures that is free to use? How do you guys get your images to show up the way they do in this thread, with bars that allow you to scroll to see the whole picture, if the picture is big? When I posted my images, I was forced to put them in thumbnails, since if I didn't, only parts of the picture would show up in this thread, since they were too big, and I can't find a way to include a scrollbar...
Title: Re: Post your collection!

I resize my pictures so I don't really know about larger ones. As for place to upload. I use dropbox for the not ecchi stuff. Rest goes toe the space I get from my ISP.

I've used imgur (http://imgur.com/) for my posts. I have the images sized large, but not extreme on my system. When you upload a pic, it will give you BBCode like:
Code: [Select]
[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/PhqAJ.jpg[/IMG]The big pic will automatically generate the scrollbars when linked in a post.

However, I like to have a smaller version - not a thumbnail, 640 wide or so - that is a clickable link to the big image. Just add a lower case l before the ".jpg" in the image url for the small version. Like this:
Code: [Select]
[url=http://i.imgur.com/PhqAJ.jpg][img]http://i.imgur.com/PhqAJl.jpg[/img][/url](http://i.imgur.com/PhqAJl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/PhqAJ.jpg)

Hope that helps.

Right! It's high time I uploaded pictures of my remaining new stuff! And man, imgur sure is a lot better than imageshack. As always, I'm not gonna bother taking pictures of all the tons of manga I've bought, and I also forgot to take a picture of my copy of the Aquaplus fighting game, Aquapazza, for the PS3, but whatever. ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌ Click on the images again to see them in larger sizes if you want (sorry for the crappy picture quality, I only have my cellphone camera).

First of, my loot from this Spring's (May) London Comic Con (my first time attending this con!):
1/8 Good Smile Company Saber figure (I love this one!):
(http://i.imgur.com/oQ3K0b0l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/oQ3K0b0.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/4bwdTkbl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/4bwdTkb.jpg)

1/7 Gift Saber Lily figure (this one is also pretty sweet!):
(http://i.imgur.com/IhBRjq0l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/IhBRjq0.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/CBfalLWl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/CBfalLW.jpg)

1/7 BanPresto Saber figure:

(http://i.imgur.com/hO0pAwrl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/hO0pAwr.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/lSTcW6Zl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/lSTcW6Z.jpg)

1/7 Taito Saber figure:
(http://i.imgur.com/EGeg8lsl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/EGeg8ls.jpg)

So yeah, I spent a lot of my time at the convention buying Saber figures lol. :P I actually bought a Gilgamesh figure from the same franchise as well, but a part is missing, so it's useless...There was also actually one more Saber Lily figure I meant to buy, but someone grabbed it first lol. :P Thanks goes out to Holo, Jecht, and their girlfriends for helping me carry all of these. I bought all of them except for the Taito one on the same day, so carrying them all around on my own for the whole day would have been tricky lol.

Next up, some loot I bought over the web a couple of months prior to the con!:
1/7 Y-Style Rin yukata figure (sorry for not having a close-up picture. They all ended up being really bad...The other two figures next to her I've posted pictures of before):
(http://i.imgur.com/MIUEAAxl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/MIUEAAx.jpg)

Type-Moon 10th Anniversary Phantasm Artbook (I'm guessing by now you guys are starting to realize how much of a Type-Moon geek I am lol):
(http://i.imgur.com/LRVzSwJl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/LRVzSwJ.jpg)

Ef Visual Fan Book (artbook):
(http://i.imgur.com/Hxr1Rf1l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/Hxr1Rf1.jpg)

Ef Art Works (artbook):
(http://i.imgur.com/jBIDeX7l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/jBIDeX7.jpg)

To Love-Ru Darkness Venus Artbook:
(http://i.imgur.com/ViEkvbfl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/ViEkvbf.jpg)

And lastly, one item I forgot to include the last time, my Tohsaka Rin Portraits Artbook:
(http://i.imgur.com/X8aebCtl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/X8aebCt.jpg)

And that's it. ^^

Could at least add the image tag to them so we can see them!

EDIT: IGNORE THIS, POST HAS BEEN EDITED! ^^
Could at least add the image tag to them so we can see them!

When I did that they showed up on this page without having to click on any link, sure, but they ended up being huge, and only a portion of the image showed up on screen, and with no scrollbar, so they were basically useless...I guess they are in too high resolution or something...If you know of a way to get my pictures to display on this page in a viewable size, or a bit large, but with a scrollbar, then please, by all means, tell me how, since I'd love to do so.

1. Next time, resize the images on your home PC in some graphics program to ... say ... half the cellphone pic size - 972 x 1296 - before uploading, not online in imgur. Even MS Paint on Windoze 7 lets you resize 50% and save.

2. Here's your homework, take your entire old post into notepad or some text editing utility ...
Code: [Select]
replace ".jpg" with ".jpg[/img][/url]"
Code: [Select]
replace "http" with "[url=][img]http"
Code: [Select]
copy and paste each image url from between the new [img][/img] tags to after the = and before the ] inside the "[url=]" tag
Code: [Select]
replace ".jpg[/" with "l.jpg[/" and that only changes the url inside the [img][/img] tagsThat's what I did (with a little habitual editing), and you get what you're after.

Edit: well, don't need the quote anymore since you've edited the post above. :)

So there you go. I don't know where your scroll bars are disappearing to, they automatically showed up when I tested it and left one of your images large in the preview. Perhaps it's your browser? You could make a template in notepad of many lines of
Code: [Select]
[url=][img][/img][/url]to just copy and paste image links into for your next collection update, then just remember to add the lowercase L before the second .jpg of each line.

Thank you so much for the help Hanover Fist! ^^ Turns out my only mistake in my original attempt was that I had not included the lowercase "L". You see in the first post where you helped me, you said: "Just add a lower case l". When I read that, I misread, and thought you meant a small "I" (as in, an "i"), rather than a small "L", so I thought you were talking about the small "i" in "i.imgur". Ops! :P Anyway, I've edited my post now, and I think it came out well (there was no need for me to resize my images before uploading them to imgur either)! Thanks a bunch! ^^

Aquapazza, the Aquaplus/Leaf PS3 fighting game that I forgot about (I bought it because I'm a fan of Utawarerumono. I'm not familiar with the other games and anime that the characters in this game are taken from):
(http://i.imgur.com/0lGDCaFl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/0lGDCaF.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/6THMNSIl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/6THMNSI.jpg)

I also forgot to include my official English (uncensored! Yey!) copy of the SHUFFLE! visual novel:
(http://i.imgur.com/hgOHseZl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/hgOHseZ.jpg)
Picture of the back cover ended up being pretty blurry. Sorry about that:
(http://i.imgur.com/dKdWMr9l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/dKdWMr9.jpg)

And since I'm on a roll, and since my old imageshack uploads sucked, I'll re-post images of the majority of the stuff I posted images of way back (though not all of it):
1/8 Good Smile Company Tohsaka Rin UBW Figure (based on the official movie promotion poster. This is my favourite figure ever!):
(http://i.imgur.com/th35KRsl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/th35KRs.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/ALJAtB9l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/ALJAtB9.jpg)

1/7 Ryougi Shiki (Kara no Kyoukai. Type-Moon again. :D ) yukata+katana figure. GSC again. These guys really are the best figure makers, seriously:

Max Factory Saber Figma:

Max Factory Saber Lily Figma (came with the Limited Edition of Fate/Unlimited Codes, a Fate/stay night fighting game for the PS2. The game is actually available officially in English, with improvements and extras, on the PSP, so if you have one and like FSN and/or fighting games, go get it! ^^):

Max Factory Shirou Figma:
(http://i.imgur.com/HEEnVQjl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/HEEnVQj.jpg)

FSN wallscroll (I have lots of other wallscrolls, both from FSN and other series, but I'm too lazy to hang them up and take pictures of them):
(http://i.imgur.com/ervuFCWl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/ervuFCW.jpg)

Clannad pillow (I wonder whether Clannad Man has this one or not lol):

And finally, my glorious, uncensored, High Quality (higher video/image quality, and extra scenes that only us westerners get. Overflow really are awesome for making something like this), Collector's Edition copy of the official English release of the School Days VN (lots of pictures incoming)! ^^ :

I guess my phone is unable to take pictures of back covers without making them blurry...Oh well...

Phew! That will be the last images from me for some time I think! ( ^_^')

Hey, Roku!  Nice pics.  I actually don't have that specific Clannad pillow, but I have come across it before.  Nonetheless, you've inspired me to take some pictures of some of the items in my collection.  I'll post them up soon!

I've been hesitant to post my collection for a while now, simply because many have been doing one pic per item. Taking, managing, uploading and posting a few hundred pics for all of my anime DVDs and manga would be too much of a pain to imagine, let alone do. So I'll stick to pics of the respective shelves with index listings.

First off, are my anime DVDs (mixed in with all the rest):
(http://i.imgur.com/6m6yu4rl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/6m6yu4r.jpg)

Next, are all the box sets (and a few forlorn VHS tapes at the bottom):
(http://i.imgur.com/K01p9gwl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/K01p9gw.jpg)

Now on to the books. First is the bookshelf (1 of 6) with my manga and graphic novels:
(http://i.imgur.com/KDZtePAl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/KDZtePA.jpg)
The manga section, double-stacked as usual:
(http://i.imgur.com/IRqb3WIl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/IRqb3WI.jpg)
The manga section with the front layer removed so you can see the back:
(http://i.imgur.com/BGPIrWZl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/BGPIrWZ.jpg)
The index of what's there:

Oops, I missed the Witchblade manga 1-2 in my listing above (They're there in the pic underneath the Yotsuba&!). Also, I purged all the Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha manga last year, because things were overflowing badly. I finally have a little bit of shelf space again for continuing series.

And then there are the graphic novels, with a few of the tall Dark Horse manga mixed in.
(http://i.imgur.com/XJxorQfl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/XJxorQf.jpg)

Finally, no figurines for me: I prefer to use the money (and shelf space) for manga & GN binges. ;)

True, but it's been accumulating for a long time: The anime & manga are the newest additions - only this century. It's been even longer for the graphic novels. Let alone all the books that have been stacking up for the last 25 years.

Well, like I've mentioned a couple of times now, I don't really feel like actually posting pictures of each one of my manga volumes either. That would take forever, and it would clog up the thread anyway. I have even more than Hanover Fist (in terms of number of books, not in number of series) lol (manga that is. I don't really buy anime). Although I suppose I could do like him and post a picture of just the entire shelf itself...:
(http://i.imgur.com/e0j9OPNl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/e0j9OPN.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/c9aPoqnl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/c9aPoqn.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/DO923VNl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/DO923VN.jpg)

I also have all the volumes from pt 1 of Naruto (so 1-27), and the first 30 or so volumes of Bleach, but they aren't in the shelf (I've run out of space lol...). In total, I have:

1. A Certain Scientific Railgun (To Aru Kagaku no Railgun) 1-4.
2. Bunny Drop (Usagi Drop) 1 (not read yet. Waiting until I've watched the anime. Yes, I watch the anime of a series first, and then read the manga, instead of the other way around).
3. Death Note 1-12+extras (complete series).
4. Fate/stay night 1-10 (Tokyopop died before they could finish localizing the manga...*grumble*...).
5. Girl Friends 1-2 [1-5] (complete series. Yuri manga. I'm a yuri fan. This one is very good imo).
6. Strawberry Panic (there's only one volume of the manga. That's the complete collection. Another yuri series. The anime is actually longer and better...).
7. Black Lagoon 1-3 (not read yet. Same reason as with Usagi Drop).
8. GetBackers 1-27 (Tokyopop died before they could finish this one as well. It's actually 39 volumes long. I haven't read all of what I have though).
9. K-ON! 1-2.
10. GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) 1-25 (complete series).
11. GTO: The Early Years/Shonan Junai Gumi 1-13 [1-26] (I'm missing 2 [5]. Thankfully Vertical was allowed by Kodansha Comics to pick this up where Tokyopop left off after they died).
12. GTO: 14 Days in Shonan 1-4.
13. The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan/Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuutsu 1-5 (I've only read the first volume though lol).
14. The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi/Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu 1-11 (I've only read the first 3 volumes. Since I've seen all of the anime, I'm finding it hard to read all the volumes that have been featured in the anime in order to get to the new and cool manga/LN only content).
15. Mardock Scramble 1-3 (not yet read).
16. Higurashi When They Cry (stupid official English translation. Should be "When the Higurashi Cry)/Higurashi no Naku Koro ni 1-18+a sidestory/spinoff volume (which sucks. The sidestory I mean. The main series is awesome. Both the anime and the manga).
17. Kannazuki no Miko 1-2 (complete series. Yuri again).
18. Love Hina 1-14 (complete series).
19. Omamori Himari 0-3 (that's 4 volumes).
20. Is This a Zombie?/Kore wa Zombie Desuka? 1 (not yet read. Same reason as with Usagi Drop).
21. Mushishi 1 (not yet read. See above).
22. Lucky Star 1-8.
23. Spice & Wolf 1-2 (not yet read. See above).
24. Soul Eater 1-2 (not yet read. See above).
25. Ouran High School Host Club 1-3 (volume 1 is in the bottom right corner of the shelf, away from the other two volumes).
26. My-HIME/Mai-HimE 1-5 (complete series).
27. Naruto 28-33 (I have 1-27 is in a separate shelf).
28. Sundome 1-8 (complete series).
29. Negima! 1-38 (complete series. Though Akamatsu claims he plans to continue it some day...).
30. Negima!? Neo 1-7 (complete series).
31. Rose Hip Zero 1-5 (complete series).
32. Rose Hip Rose 1-4 (complete series).
33. Tenjo/Tenjou Tenge 1-11 [1-22] (complete series).
34. Strawberry/Ichigo 100% 1-14 (one of the only two manga series in existence that Shonen Jump Advanced have been doing and have cancelled before they finished them...Typical my luck...There are 19 volumes in all...).
35. Bakuman 1 (not yet read. Same reason as with the other series I haven't read yet).
36. Black Cat 1 (I've actually seen the anime, but I haven't read this one yet...Not sure if I will...).
37. Genshiken 1 (not yet read. Same reason as with Bakuman).
38. Rosario+Vampire 1 (not yet read. See above).
39. Samurai Harem: Asu no Yoichi 1 (just haven't gotten around to reading this one yet. Probably pointless anyway though, since I won't be able to get ahold of the other volumes, since Tokyopop is dead...).
40. And of course, the 30+ something (I have them stored away in a plastic bag in the closet, so I'm not gonna go and check exactly how many I have lol) volumes of Bleach.

One question for you Hanover Fist: Is A.I. Love You any good? I like Love Hina, and Negima is my second-favourite manga of all time (after GTO. Too bad all the anime adaptations of Negima are crap though...Sigh...), so I was thinking of checking that one out since I seem to like all of Akamatsu's major works.

I'd just like to point out that a century is 100 years. I think you mean decade. :P That's 10 years.
Title: Re: Post your collection!
Post by: Hanover Fist on July 01, 2013, 07:42:16 pm
It's been years since I read A.I. Love You - I just re-read a little of the first volume. From what I remember it was a cute story. It was Ken Akamatsu's first big series and you can watch the art improve from beginning to end. Also it might be hard to suspend your disbelief that a sophisticated A.I. can run on a '90s PCs with floppy discs as the main storage. So yes, it has flaws but it's good.

It is true that a century is 100 years. However, this century - the 21st century - has only lasted about 13 years[1] so far. Apparently my humor there failed to make it through.

[1] Oh my, I'd happily forgotten about the y2k and the "when does a century start - 2000 or 2001?" debates. So 12.5 years based on 2001, but some may still say it's been 13.5 years with 2000 as the century's start.

No images for the moment but since every one started posting their manga collection here's the list of manga I bought.
I'm not going to write everything down as (1) there's too much, (2) I'm too lazy and (3) you should be able to see the list here:

http://www.manga-news.com/index.php/collection-manga/shawurai

Note that these are all French releases. Actually no, some are orignal JP releases (marked VO). The columns should be easy to understand even if you don't know the language.

Couldn't find anything about it being published in English. It is only 2 volumes so there's a change it could get picked up eventually if there's anough intrest for yuri. Yuri manga haven't been appearing for that long in France. Right now there's only 1 publisher that releases yuri. On the other hand yaoi is a huge market in France. There's times where you'll get almost weekly announcements about new licenses. Yuri licenses come in about once every month or two.

Just look at the difference in releases in France :( (I want more yuri !!)

Ye, it's the same in most western countries actually, not just France...There's virtually no yuri here in Norway at all, but tons of yaoi. :( Having lived in England for 5 months, I know it's the same there as well. From what I've heard, it's a little better in the US, but not by much...So unfair... ;_; I'm a big yuri fan, so I totally feel your pain bro.

Is that Navel game good? I'm a fan of SHUFFLE!, so...I might check it out. It doesn't appear to have an English patch available though.

It just came out and I just got it last weekend so I haven't played it yet. But it's the sequel to this : http://vndb.org/v10680 and that was pretty good. Mostly liked the character design. I'll have to put aside some time this weekend to play. :3

Time for a few more pictures.

This one's from last month but I never took the time to upload it.

The next items arrived this month.

Latest Debonosu eroge with preorder stuff and Limited Edition OST

C84 stuff:
Debonosu goods set and dakimakura cover

Yamamoto Kazue's goods and doujinshi set

Tinkle doujinshi, clear poster, clear cards and bag

Xuse's limited preorder dakimakura cover. This one was up for preorder for a limited time at the Xuse website.
Character is Euphoria The Everlasting from Seinarukana. This dakimakura cover has an ecchi side. This is surprising as none of the other Xuse dakimakura covers I have or have seen had this feature. The is a first time for Xuse I think. More surprising so as she doesn't even have and ecchi scene in the VN.

But I'm not complaining :)

Package with C84 doujinshi is still under way. I hope it arrives soon.

It has been a while since I posted anything. Here's the most recent stuff I got. There's also a lot of manga but that's not realy special and the last part of my C84 loot (doujinshi) is from several months ago so I don't think I'll post that now.

Coffee Kizoku dakimakura cover (18+)(arrived last month). I actually bought this one last year together with another dakimakura cover but the pacakge was lost by the postal service when it left customs in my country. I got my money back from AmiAmi but I still don't understand how an EMS package can just get "lost" in a distribution center.

This one is the regual edition (last year there was a Limited Edition with a telephone card). I like how it is packed in a solid plastic box. It offers good protection against brutal customs inspection :)

Nice figure! I've got 5 new figures coming in myself! :P I'll take pictures once I've received all of them. Don't know where I'm gonna put them though...I don't really think I have enough room left anywhere...

EDIT: Ok, so here's the thing: I changed my mind, and didn't want to wait for all of them, and I was going to take pictures of my new Bandai Chogokin Fate/Zero Archer figure (sparkly golden Gilgamesh, yey! : D ), but I can't for the life of me get him assembled and/or posed correctly...I wanted to have him pose with his arms crossed (with the included crossed arms parts of course), but I couldn't get them right, so I gave up and tried having him pose with Ea (his sword) instead, switching out his right hand with the appropriate hand for holding the sword, but I can't get that right either...The sword hangs too loosely, and I get the feeling that maybe he should be holding it further up the hilt? :-/ Anyway, I think I spent like 2 hours altogether, before I gave up completely, and just put him back in the box...I fail at this...I really should stick to figures with non-movable parts only...Kind of depressed now...My Kinpika (Goldy) Gil will just be lying around in his box at this rate. :'-(

Here's a bunch of pictures of what he looks like (various parts and poses) properly assembled, if anyone's interested...:

My GSC 1/8 Ultimate Madoka figure arrived! :D Probably the most amazing figure I've ever seen tbh. It truly is a sight to behold! It's pretty huge as well, even for a 1/8 figure. She was a bit of a pain to assemble (especially the wings), and unboxing her was a nightmare, but who cares!? ^^ Anyway, pics (sorry for the poor quality as usual):

My Saber 1/8 Scale PVC GIFT Figure arrived! ^^ Well actually, it arrived a while ago, but I just haven't bothered/had time to unpack it and take pictures of it until now. And yes, I switched out her "realistic" face with her anime style face, because I hate the former. Thank god it came with a separate anime-style head...Anyway, pics!:

I feel a bit like I'm only posting to myself here, but...anyway, my two remaining figures arrived. I've only put up one of them yet, so pictures of the other one tomorrow or at a later point. For now, here is my Fate/Extra (Nero) Saber, of the same series, and from the same figure making company, as the Saber figure from my previous post:

I must say, when displayed together, these three make a very nice set:

Nice figure! :D Your desk looks like it needs some cleaning though, or rather, you need to find a better place to stash those books/that manga (I assume that's what they are?). :P
Also, I bought a ton of eroge a couple of weeks back, but they haven't all arrived yet, and some are being resent because my initial copies were damaged during transport (good customer service, yey!), so I'll post pictures once I have them all. I'll include pictures of the figure I haven't posted pictures of yet as well when that time comes.

Nice figure! :D Your desk looks like it needs some cleaning though, or rather, you need to find a better place to stash those books/that manga (I assume that's what they are?). :P

What I need most is time to read them. Those are 20+ volumes I still need to read. I'm not putting thme away because I would loose track of what vomume I read last.

This weekend's loot. One package fron Japan with Momo from Max Factory. I also went shopping for The Garden of Words BD/DVD pack and SAO Fairy Dance arc BD/DVD Collector Box set.

Box set contains complete Fairy Dance arc:

I got several boxes these past weeks. Some stuff is regular loot while the rest is from C85. There's still 1 box of C85 loot that needs to be delivered so what I post here is just part 1 (but it's most of what I got from C85)

There are several NSFW images here so don't scroll down when you're at work ^^

This part is the regular loot.
I bought 2 eroge. The 1st is a new release, "Senjou no Folklore", ordered at Getchu together with the OST. The book contains the 2nd game (additional scenario for "Kurenai Kagura"). I actually already had that book but the back cover got damaged by a customs check so I had to order it again. No damage this time :)

B2 sized preorder extra

The "Senjou no Folklore" game comes in a type of packing that folds open. I've never seen this getting used before for an eroge. Larger as A4 size so not easy to find space for it on my shelf.

The Xuse stuff here was a special preorder at their site.
Illustrated tapestry type calendar (2014).

Katima dakimakura cover. This is the same type as the Euphoria dakimakura cover I posted about on page 10. The only difference is that Katima had a route in the game while Euphoria didn't.

Next is the C85 loot.
This is all that I got so far. I'll post the rest when I get the last package.

There are always some illustrated bags that I also need to store away somewhere.

Doujinshi and a mug ordered at Melonbooks. You'll notice I have 2 WNB doujinshi (picture above). I ordered 1 at Melonbooks and I got the other one with in the auction set.

WNB set with doujinshi, goodies and a dakimakura cover.

I really love this one.

Debonosu set with small calendar, fanbook and some software.

Akai Shougeki (Kazue Yamamaoto circle) set with small goodies, 2 doujinshi (left one is full color) and a blanket.

Right, I was going to wait until after I had received all the goods I bought over the past two months before posting an update, but this one VN hasn't arrived even after a month (at this point I'm thinking it's been lost during shipping or something...damn...), so fuck it. I'm way late on my loot update post because of it.

Anyway, first of, the missing figure from my previous round of loot, that I mentioned in one of my previous posts. The Kotobukiya 1/8 Aincrad Asuna (SAO) figure:

(http://i.imgur.com/Fsz63QYl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/Fsz63QY.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/buxGutHl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/buxGutH.jpg)

Next up, my January and February loot. I bought a ton of VN's (all official English versions)!:

(http://i.imgur.com/eIY1jpkl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/eIY1jpk.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/isNwVzRl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/isNwVzR.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/9wHVFO7l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/9wHVFO7.jpg)
(http://i.imgur.com/vidcingl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/vidcing.jpg)

Games visible in the images:
Da Capo Limited Edition
Da Capo 2 Limited Edition
Deardrops
Kara no Shoujo Limited Edition
My Girlfriend is the President
Yume Miru Kusuri (A Drug That Makes You Dream)
Snow Sakura
Go Go Nippon! (eroge free VN)
Say no Uta (The Song of Saya)
Kazoku Keikaku (Family Project)
Kono Oozora ni, Tsubasa wo Hirogete (If My Heart Had Wings)
Edelweiss Deluxe Set (Edelweiss+Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia)
Hitomi - My Stepsister -

If My Heart Had Wings is actually an 18+ eroge like most of the others, but the English version has been edited and turned into a teen friendly version. Pretty lame move, not to mention pointless. -_-

The Limited Edition games unboxed:

(http://i.imgur.com/qM6OP8il.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/qM6OP8i.jpg)

All 3 games comes with a soundtrack disc, and the two Da Capo games also come with a Visual Book artbook. I accidentally put the Da Capo 2 Visual Book with the back cover facing upwards in the previous picks, so here's the front cover:

(http://i.imgur.com/zU5MK3ul.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/zU5MK3u.jpg)

Finally, I also bought one (or actually two) non-English VN ('s). The Fate/stay night + hollow ataraxia 2014 Limited Edition set:

The game box:

The back cover:

The included awesome Fate/Art Chronicle, which compiles 95 pages worth of some of the best Fate art made from back when FSN was released, up until today!:

(http://i.imgur.com/4pm8et0l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/4pm8et0.jpg)

The inluded Fate/side material art/information booklet. This is the same book that was originally released with the First Edition of FSN back in 2004. It contains in-game art and CG's from the VN, character sketches and concept art, weapon sketches, and lots of information and comments on characters and weapons, not to mention encyclopedia entries on various Fate series terms and definitions:

So yeah, figures that the missing VN I had been waiting for forever would arrive in the mail the day after I posted the other pics lol. Deus Machina Demonbane (English version), from Nitro+. One of the more famous VN's out there I reckon. I'm not really into mecha, but I bought it since it's apparently supposed to be such a big deal. Anyway, pics:

I should have posted these several weeks ago but never took the time.

First part is the last bit of my C85 loot with a Tinkle doujinshi and a dakimakura cover from Hisuitei.
The tapestry is just a little something extra I bought that wasn't part of my C85 loot.

Next part is the loot I got at Made In Asia back in March. This is a convention held every year in Brussels. Last year there was an official GSC booth and they came back this year. Most of my money went there as they had a few exclusive figures on sale like this year's Snow Miku. Prices were a bit higher as what you would pay at an online shop but it's still way cheaper if you take off the shipping fee and customs fee you would have to pay.

Got all this Raynart stuff for just 60 EUR. The A4-size Kantai Collection artbook has some great full color illustrations.

Big box with lots of parts for Snow Miku.

Belldandy was packed in a huge box as you'll see from one of the previous pictures.

Assembly took longer as with Snow Miku. The reason is that the connection between the 2 main pieces here in her back was in a difficult to access place.

I'll be posting my March and April loot all in one big update pretty soon (though I bought most of it in March anyway), once I receive a few remaining items that haven't arrived yet. I went pretty crazy. :P It's Easter now though, so I guess I won't be getting any of my remaining stuff until after Easter has ended...

Next, things I bought at this year's London Comic Con (at the end of May):

(http://i.imgur.com/A6sRQNJl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/A6sRQNJ.jpg)

Banpresto 1/7(8?) Fate/stay night - Saber Lily figure:

And since the one I originally bought and posted pictures of turned out to be a bootleg, here's pictures of the authentic version of GSC's 1/8 Kara no Kyoukai - Ryougi Shiki figure (which I have now bought and acquired to replace my previous shitty bootleg):
(http://i.imgur.com/UXJJSAIl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/UXJJSAI.jpg)

The bootleg for comparison. The eyes in particular are pretty bad:
(http://i.imgur.com/3pBIwRal.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/3pBIwRa.jpg)

Also, since I realized I've forgotten to post pictures of them, my Type-Moon Ace magazine collection:
(http://i.imgur.com/nOqSmsYl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/nOqSmsY.jpg)

Finally, my preorder of GSC's 1/8 Sword Art Online - Asuna Knights of the Blood version figure arrived in the mail just a few days ago. As usual, GSC does not disappoint. They really are the best figure making company imo:

And that's it! Phew!

My School Days Series illustration Collection artbook arrived. : ) Well, it may be called the School Days Series illustration Collection, but it actually consists of art from School Days, Summer Days, Cross Days, Shiny Days, and even Island Days (though the latter barely gets any pages), and Cross Days is actually the game with the most art featured in the book.

School Days gets 33 pages (23 from the regular version, and 10 from the HQ version), Summer Days gets 21 pages, Cross Days gets 43 pages, and Shiny Days gets 20 pages. Island Days only gets 6 pages. Then there are a few pages with other stuff. Anyway, it's a good artbook. It consists almost entirely of art, and has lots of ecchi. :P

I've been saying I'd do an update of my Key Collection for ages, so I'll go ahead and post a few. I'll start with a photo of one of the work areas I utilize which is adjacent to a large bookshelf containing a multitude of Key goods. I generally organize my bookshelves according to functionality instead of for display purposes. It's relatively space efficient, allowing me to utilize other areas for work, exercise, and entertainment.

(http://i.imgur.com/u2C7sPkl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/u2C7sPk.jpg)

The lowermost shelves contain a assortment of manga and novels from Key works, as well as some doujin materials from Key artist and co-founder Itaru Hinoue. The middle shelf primarily contains Key artbooks (such as the one for Clannad's 10th Anniversary) along with some larger reading material. The shelf second from the top includes various boxed editions of Key visual novels with all original contents for reference purposes. The top shelf contains miscellaneous, rare Key goods. Each item from this section has one or more unique characteristics which makes them stand out from ordinary releases. It's nice to look at them every once in awhile, though I'm always particularly careful with these materials as some cannot be replaced.

(http://i.imgur.com/4EGgd0tl.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/4EGgd0t.jpg)

In my dress closet I have another bookcase devoted primarily to Key goods. Unlike the items found in the prior picture, the items shown here are meant for exchange. I often get asked if I am familiar with certain Key merchandise. Oftentimes I am and can lead people in the right direction, though on occasion I have also been asked to serve as an intermediary. This happens often enough that I now keep a limited stock of Key visual novels and reading material on hand for those that want to own a copy of their own without the risk of loss or damage from overseas transit. I'm also open to trading with anyone who has unique or unusual items of interest to me.

The top shelves primarily contain first edition releases of Key visual novels, the games from the Memorial Box, the Little Busters! Collector's Edition vinyl, the art gallery edition of White Clover, as well as various albums from Key Sounds Label. The middle shelf primarily contains Key manga, artbooks, and visual fan books. Copies of the limited release rough note collections (in various stages of wear) are also present. The shelf second to the bottom contains misc. books and magazines. Bound copies of Itaru Hinoue's doujin works are placed alongside sewn Key clothing, towels, and sheets. The bottom shelf includes whatever didn't fit on the other shelves, from oversized books and carrying bags to a Nagisa bedsheet, an Air music box, and thin items like mousepads. For me, collecting is about learning what's out there and finding something new & exciting, so I'm happy to share the joy of my hobby with others.

(http://i.imgur.com/dxciol4l.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/dxciol4.jpg)

Though these shelves generally did not contain articles of clothing or music, I figured I'd set aside a moment for this piece. This is the original 2008 version of the Little Busters! Jumper, identifiable by the blended embroidery on the chest and the lavender background of the backside decal. I love that it's a large (it fits!), though it is a bit short in the sleeves and the pockets aren't real. Oh well. You win some and lose some, right? ^^

Late to post these but the arrival of my package was delayed. It was original shipping date was September 1st but then it got lost for over a month in a sorting center. When it was tracked down, the package was already on it's way back to Japan for no reason. It took another 2 weeks to arrive once more in Belgium where customs held it back several days for inspection. I was able to pick up my package last Saturday.

So what's in it? Mostly C86 doujinshi.

Part 1.

Part 2.

This final part isn't from C86 but I picked these after loosing a few auctions.

Oooh, I want that Tony book...

The book itself is actually more of a figure collection book. Just a few pages have actual illustrations to compare them with the associated figure. All the rest of pages are filled with shots from various figures from the Shining series.

Last of the C87 loot. These are the doujinshi that didn't come as part of a larger set with goods. Most of these were bought at Melonbooks.

I didn't buy a whole lot of stuff at this year's London Comic Con. Mostly just a bunch of manga. Probably the only thing worth taking pictures of is this new Asuna figure that I bought.

My Aniplex Devil Homura figure arrived this Tuesday. Haven't taken her out of the box and put her together until today. As far as figures go, this one is pretty big, just like the GSC Ultimate Madoka figure (which this figure goes well with, but I don't have room to put them next to each other, and it only looks good if you don't put them too close to each other). She comes with an extra alternative set of wings, an alternative face, and an alternative arm. I went with the default face and arm, but chose the alternative wings, since I think they're cooler. I also actually prefer the alternative face, look-wise, but it faces in a different direction, and since I want the direction she's looking to be front and center, I would have to turn the whole figure in a different direction, and I don't want to do that, since the persepective would then not be quite as cool for the rest of the figure, imho. I bet I'll display her with the other parts some day though. Anyway, pics!:

I feel like I'm just talking to myself a lot in this thread lately, but anyway...I recently caved and bought the Wizard's Edition of Ni no Kuni (have had and have played through the normal version of the game since 2013 when it first came out (in the West)) for the PS3, just so I could get that awesome physical copy of the Wizard's Companion (the book of magic that you have in the game). I also bought the official game guide, which is pretty useful, mostly because it lists all the details about all the familiars in the game. For those of you who don't know, while the story (surprisingly enough) and all the gameplay aspects of the game are done by Level 5, the animations (both the in-game ones and the cutscenes), the character designs, and the original concept art for the look and design of the locations in the game and such are all made by the famous and wonderful anime company Studio Ghibli. Half of the music is also composed by the renowned Joe Hisaishi, who's famous for doing music for the company. So if you're a Ghibli fan like me, the game is a must. It's really good too, Level 5 did a great job with the story, and the game has all the look and feel of a Ghibli movie. Pics:

The game box:

And the reason I bought this version of the game in the first place, the magnificent Wizard's Companion:

A few months ago I bought my 2nd B0-size (1030mm x 1456mm) tapestry. Usually you would need a large section of wall space to hang these up. Space that I didn't have in my room. So I opted for the other solution. Hanging them up on my ceiling.

Here are some instructions on how to get these up there:

1:
I bought these simple hooks in a DIY store. These were originally fully closed inox hooks. I used some pliers open them up to a one quarter opening. Fixing them in the ceiling was easy with a small drill and some anchors to keep the hooks in place. Getting the markings up on the ceiling was a bit more tricky. I used a laser guide to project my guideline on the ceiling. This tool makes it a lot easier to measure where you'll need to fix your hooks. If you don't a tool like this, you'll make things a lot harder for yourself especially if you need to do this by yourself. I don't have any method on how to do it without a laser guide. You could consider buying one as they aren't that expensive and while you won't use it that often, it will still come in handy when you do need it. Make sure you get your markings correctly and take into consideration how much you want your tapestry to hang down in the middle.

2:
Get some curtain sticks. I bought these extendable ones. The packages says they go up to 900mm in length, but you can extend them to about 1050mm.

3:
Just hang them up using the opening in your hooks. The I've chosen these because of the small notch next to the ball finish at each end. The hooks fit nicely in these notches so the stick won't move around once up there.

4:
Extended out this much, the stick bends down a little in the middle but this won't be visible anymore once the tapestry is up there as well.

5:
Remove the plastic tubes from the tapestry and dismantle any unneeded parts. You won't need the cord anymore so you can dispose of it if you want. The tapestry I bought here had some plastic caps at the ends of each tube.

6:
The plastic tubes here were too long. The max length I needed was 1040mm. I had to cut of 30 mm from these 1070mm tubes. As I didn't have any fancy equipment for this, I used the rudimentary tools at my disposal.

7:
Refitted the tapestry with the shortened plastic tubes.

8:
All that's left to do is sliding the inox curtain sicks inside the plastic tubes and hanging the thing up on the hooks in the ceiling. As you can see, the solid plastic tubes will remove any bending there was in the curtain stick.

That is all.

Here's the first one I bought.

I prepared my ceiling so I can have up to 4 B0-sized tapestries but you can even hang up smaller sized tapestries using a cord to make up for the difference in length.

Man, that sounds like a lot of work! :P

It was. Not counting the time it took to assemble the stuff I needed, it took me 2 days to get the measurements correctly on the ceiling. The rest was done in a couple of hours on the third day. I did all this on my own, so if you have someone helping you, you should be able to to get it done in a day with the right tools.

Time for some other loot pictures.

This is some older loot from a few months ago. Comic1 loot that arrived just after my B0 tapestries.

Shiny Days English Limited Edition. I've had this for a while now, but I had laser surgery on my eyes last month, so I haven't bothered to take pictures of this and upload them until now, since it took a while before I could see well again. It comes with a mousemat, an artbook, and a small strap thingy. I'm feeling lazy, so I'm only taking one picture of all of them together rather than one picture for each:

Link (Skyward Sword version) figure. Spontaneous buy from my local Gamestop shop (they're apparently going to start having some things like this...). It's a pretty big figure, though not as big as my GSC Ultimate Madoka figure, Aniplex Devil Homura figure, GSC Triumphant Excalibur Saber figure, GSC UBW Rin figure, and GSC Saber Lily Distant Avalon figure.

@shawurai
Coffee-Kizoku's art is always really nice.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, large new loot update! First up, glorious Archer figure from Fate/stay night! I went with the hair down, serious expression (i.e, looks more like Shirou) face, because I think it looks a lot better than the other one. The arms, the swords, the head, and the arrow are all easy to attach, but the bow is a pain in the ass...

(click to show/hide)

Next up, also glorious Jeanne figure, from Fate/Apocrypha. The weight support thingy for the flag, which holds it up, was a bit disappointing to me, since there are no pictures of it in the promotional pictures for the figure, or on the package, so you would never know there was one until you open the package. It is a little aesthetically impairing, but I guess it can't be helped. I can see why it's needed. The flag is heavy, and the spear part of it isn't actually properly attached to the base of the figure, so without the support thingy, the flag would just spin around and hang sideways. Other than that though, the figure is great.

(click to show/hide)

Next, Naruto Shippuuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Collector's Edition for PS4, with steelbook, steelpad(?), artbook, and figure. I only bought the CE for the artbook, which turned out to not be all that great, and the steelbook, because I don't like the normal cover for the game...Kind of regretting it now, but oh well. It's OK I guess, and I still want the game itself, which is great.

(click to show/hide)

Then there's the US (Japanese voices with English text) version of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax for the PS3. It's a BlazBlue like game with characters from various anime series, such as Shakugan no Shana, and To Aru Majutsu/Kagaku no Index/Railgun. There is an updated version available with a couple extra characters, but it's only available in Japan, and so only in Japanese. I had the old normal JP version of the game, but bought the English version so I can understand what is going on.

(click to show/hide)

Next we have the official English version of the Grisaia visual novel, thanks to Sekai Project! Only Grisaia no Kajitsu (The Fruit of Grisaia) has been translated and released so far, but Meikyuu and Rakuen will be translated and released in time, and the collector's box is made in such a way that it has room for those two games as well when they come out. I already bought all of them, so I'll be getting the other two eventually. The physical version depicted here is the all-ages version, but the H-version is also available for download for those who bought the game and want that version. So I have a digital version of that version of the game as well. :-P

(click to show/hide)

Finally, there's the official English Limited Edition of the visual novel Princess Evangile. Comes with a nice artbook, and the soundtrack on CD.

@shawurai: You must have one hell of a doujin collection at this point! :D

Dammit, why don't I get email notifications about new posts in this thread like I used to...The "notify me of replies" box is ticked, but I still don't get any email notifications...It's annoying...

@shawurai: You must have one hell of a doujin collection at this point! :D

I usually only pick them from a limited number of the same circles. So it isn't that impressive imo.

Here's today's loot. First day of Made in Asia 2016 (opening evening). Good Smile Company was ones again there and I picked up this year's Nendo Snow Miku (for only 55 EUR) and Nendo Yamato (for 75 EUR). I wouldn't be able to get those prices if I ordered online and had to add shipping and taxes. I'm glad GSC came again this year.

I got myself some new stuff. It has been several months since my last order came in so here's what I got last week. All coffee-kizoku goodies.

B0-size tapestry for my ceiling.

Clannad Man, this should be highly relevant to your interests (though I strongly assume you're one of the people who got yourself one of these as well). ;-) My Clannad Kickstarter Limited Edition box, along with the Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de sidestories, and the anthology manga, arrived, and it is beautiful imo:

Finally, after god knows how many years, we have an official, English, physical release of Clannad! <3 (^_^)The Kickstarter Limited Box comes with the official guidebook and the Mabinogi Arrange music album. The anthology manga and the Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de sidestories to the game are extras that you could pledge for.

I still haven't posted any pictures of my huge loot from my Japan trip in March...It just feels like such a daunting task...Some day...maybe...

My Fate/Grand Order Okita figure arrived. I quite like it. I may not be into Grand Order, but I like Okita's design, and I like the figure (it's worth clicking on the images to see them in a better (bigger) size).

It has been that long??
I'd love to see stuff from other users for a change. Like you said, it's just you and me lately.

And that brings us to more loot. With this my room is as good as packed with things wherever i could place it. I wonder what i'll do now...
I do have one extra romm but no real additional storage or display space there as it already has all the shelving for my manga.

This is yet another coffee-kizoku B0-size tapestry. The 3rd of a total of 4 (the 4th being from Tony). This difference here is that it is of a superior quality in almost every aspect.
This one was a W suede tapestry exclusive from Melonbooks. The others are regular types from Petit Jeuness.

Differences:
Much ticker material (and about 2-3 times as heavy). The poles are also made of a light metal instead of plastic and the metal poles are just the width of the tapestry. The plastic poles from the Petit Jeuness tapestries are a bit longer and have caps on them to cover the ends. It is still a bit early to say how the metal will react but the plastic does bend a bit over time because of the weight of the tapestry material. The Melonbooks tapestry is a lot heavier so I'm not sure how it will react or stretch and how to poles will shape after a while.

The only negative thing I can point out at this time is that the sides of the Melonbooks tapestry are not as well cut as with Petit Jeuness. The Melonbooks tapestry has a very slight wave in the cut where Petit Jeuness has nice straight cut sides as far as you could see with the naked eye.

That's when it's to store some of your older stuff away, and display some of your newer stuff instead. Unless you plan on buying a bigger apartment or house, then replacing some stuff with new stuff is inevitable at some point. :P

EDIT: Oh, wait, you said you've used up your storage space as well...Yeah, that's a problem...Not sure what to do about that...Ship some stuff to you parents and store it away there? :P My room is getting really packed as well to be honest...And those damn boxes all of my figures have come in (I'm thinking I might need them one day if I move, to transport my figures in, so I haven't dared to throw them away..) take up way too much space, so I had to store those in my parents' attic.

So since I had to temporarily move a lot of my stuff out of the way anyway, due to some renovating in my room (replacing a window), I finally worked up the resolve to take pictures of and post my loot from my trip to Japan back in March.

My New Game! artbook arrived! :-) It's quite nice. There were a few very brief appearances by two female characters that I don't recognize from the manga. I'm assuming they are new characters that will appear in later chapters. Also, there were 3 short comics in the book that spanned less than 3 pages that I think are original, and not from the manga. Can't read them though, so I can't tell if they're good ot not. :P Looked nice though.

Last loot arrived just in time this week before 2016 ends.

Coffee-Kizoku artbook The Blend 2 and 2017 calendar

Mahouka books. Kind of an A4 doujinshi format with illustrations from various artists focused on Miyuki.

Nice. I also bought that Coffee-Kizoku The Blend 2 artbook, though I'm still waiting for mine (I picked the slowest and cheapest shipping option). Hope it's as good as the first one.

I bought mine at Amazon Japan so I got it really fast with the DHL shipping. The book itself doesn't contain any 18+ material like in the first. Kind of normal since the artist stopped working on Noesis games since august 2014 and almost all 18+ material in the first book was from those games. The rest of the illustrations in the new book are from the doujinshi and exclusive shop goods. It's really good and better as the first book is you want an artbook without any 18+ stuff in it.

I certainly don't mind 18+ stuff, but I'm also fine without it, so either is fine by me. Will see how much I like it compared to the first once I get it. Comes down to nice backgrounds, cute girls, and cute outfits. How good the artwork is in general really.

Got my New Game! TV Animation Official Guide book...Thought it was an artbook with art from/based on the anime (as opposed to the "Fairies Story" artbook, which has art that is from/based on the manga and New Game! in general), turns out it isn't, really...It has a little bit of art at the beginning, then lots of still images of scenes from the anime, then various staff and cast interviews. Should have realized since it's called a guidebook I guess. Still enjoyed it though, but Fairies Story is what you want if you want a New Game! artbook. As a sidenote, there were two 8 page manga comics (16 pages total) in the book that would be nice to read if I knew Japanese...

My Kotobukiya figure of Velvet Crowe from Tales of Berseria arrived. Haven't played the game, nor do I own it (though I'll probably buy and play it at some point). I just like the figure. Both her outfit and her pose is bloody badass.

This topic is so dead lol (not that there's a whole lot of activity on the forum in general). Somebody post some pictures of their stuff. I haven't really bought anything for a long time, other than the Coffee Kizoku 10th Anniversary artbook (which was a disappointment), and a small keychain, and I'm tired of being the one posting all the time anyway.
