I think every key fan squealed in delight after seeing this.  On the animation, I think I saw a statement from the Pres of VisualArts saying that it is not a reflection on the actual animation since they created it from early production sketches and stills from the studio.

I don't want to sound ignorant, but, what's the difference between visual novels and animes?

Thanks

A Visual Novel is a type of video game where you read a story - often romantic or erotic stories with one or more sex scenes: You scroll through walls of text with rare choices to click on between two or more options. Going through the VN multiple times with new choices you can get to other paths that focus on different characters. Instead of the full animation of anime shows on Japanese TV, VNs have static images with limited changes of costume, posture and facial expression. Some VNs have an occasional animated scene or three but that is rather rare.

Many anime are based on the story from an earlier VN/EroGame, but might blend the many routes into one story line. When done badly it makes the protagonist look like an indecisive ass or out to make a harem. Yosuga no Sora is an example of a well-adapted anime as far as following the different story lines without mashing them all together or ignoring most of the routes.

Oh, this made me laugh! ^^

So how does Makoto (from School Days) rate?  He's an indecisive ass AND out to make a harem!

This isn't the right place for this, you should post a question like this in the Visual Novel forum. With that out of the way, first things first: Do you have the actual game disc, or are you using a downloaded version? If it's the latter, then tell me what type of files came with the download, or even better, if you can, point me to where you got it, and I can check for myself. But, usually if there's and ISO/CUE disc image file, then you use a program like DAEMON Tools to load the disc virtually, and then install the game like normal. Then you just run the exe. for the Little Busters 6.0 patch, and install it into the directory where you installed the game. Finally, if you want to use the Little Busters! EXperimental EXtra patch 1.0 as well, download it, and extract the contents into the game folder. If you're using the Ecstasy (EX) or Memorial (ME) version of the game, you'll need to grab the respective versions of the 6.0 patch instead of the one for the regular version, but be aware that in this case there will be content that is not translated, since these editions have extra content that is not translated in these patches. There are no complete EX/ME patches yet.

Have a look here: http://doki.co/visual-novels/little-busters/
Or here: http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Little_Busters!
For updates, and basic info on how to install the patches. Let me know if you have trouble actually RUNNING the game once you've installed and patched it. You might run into potential trouble when it comes to that as well.

The 1503 error message is about your disc not being inserted, so first off, I'm gonna have to ask you, have you made sure to keep the ISO file mounted in DAEMON (or whatever you use) WHILE running the game, and not just during install? The game requires the disc to be inserted in order to run. You could always use a NOCD patch if you find one though, I think I saw one floating around somewhere on the internet, but I don't remember. You're gonna have to look for it on your own. And about the REALLIVE.exe...eh, ye, you kinda need that, so if you deleted it you're gonna have to redownload it again. ┐( ̄_ ̄)┌ Sorry mate. No other way around it.

My guess is that there's a problem with your REALLIVE.exe, but I'll get back to you on it after I've asked the experts in the VN team. I did some Googling and digging on the net, and found your post here:  http://erogedownload.com/faq/little-busters-installation/#comments  You know you should have told me this was where you got the game to begin with. I DID ask you what downloaded version you were using and where you got it, after all. It's easier for me to help when I know. Anyway, one other thing I want to know: When you say you deleted your REALLIVE.exe, are you refering to the original one that was in your game folder after installing the game, or are you refering to the "crack" one that that download comes with? Again, when you said: "i think i deleted the REALLIVE.exe file i was supposed to copy into the game data file", that didn't really make any sense to me until I found out where you downloaded the game from, and that they tell you there to replace the original REALLIVE.exe with the crack one, because normally, you wouldn't do that.
