Visual Novels / Re: LBEX status

I just wish they would say anything at all really, just so we know they haven't just abandoned it. If it's dead they should at least say so, that way another team could pick it up. I don't think a small update would be too much to ask, it's almost as bad as the subahibi translation lol.

TL for perfect edition? Solid. I'm only really buying it so I can make my computer have Kudryavka's voice though. Cool...

Kind of a dead poll, but is Elfen Lied really THAT gory? I mean it was unbearably bloody, but when did you ever see guts, or organs, or anything other than limbs being torn off and unrealistic amounts of blood pouring out, and in my book, blood is not gore. It wasn't even disturbing, no one suffered, screamed, or cried during their death making it kind it kind of boring on that part. I would consider Bearfoot Gen more gory than that... I keep hearing Berserker is super gory but the setting and art style is kind of keeping me away.

I am a fan of watching visual gore, that I must admit and though disturbing I still value life more than most people. I don't even kill spiders I find around my dorm I just get a cup and some paper and release them outside. Gore on a screen, even when its to the extreme can make me laugh but when anything and I mean ANYTHING in real life gets hurt I cringe. Its rather strange :P

Muv Luv (and Muv Luv Alt), along with the vast majority of voiced PC VNs do have voice acting during the H-scenes, complete with lots of moaning

On the other hand, Kanon (along with a few others such as Fate/Stay Night and Utawarerumono) don't have voices in the H-scenes simply because the voices weren't in the original PC version of the game, but rather came from a voice patch from a voiced PS2 version of the game.  For obvious reasons, these PS2 versions could not keep the H-scenes, thus those lines end up unvoiced and there is no voiced version with H-scenes.
really? Wtf my version of ML dosent have voice acting... alt dose though, w/e, but my orignal question was dose Tomyo after have it?

Anime / Goriest anime youve ever seen?

What is the goriest anime you have ever seen? And what made it so gory?

I'm gonna go with Gantz, an example of a basic scene would be a guy getting a grenade shoved in his mouth with a wire tied around it, the wire is then tied to a girls neck, then the girl is whipped, if she moves to much, his head goes bye bye, whats the result? his head goes bye bye, which was pretty funny. People get smashed apart by trains, bashed to death by bats, smashed by giant Buddhas, get high volume pressure on their head so their eyes pop and blood gushes out from every hole on their head, etc, pretty enjoyable for gore fans out their.

Hey um random question about the game do the sexual scenes have voice acting? not that I really care but in games like Muv Luv and Kanon all of the scenes have voice acting but the sexual parts, and it really bugs me for no reason. thanks

Anime / Re: What would YOU like to see adapted?

It would be godly if funimation and visual arts got around to finally making a little busters! visual novel, Little Busters! EX is my favorite visual novel, though a bit hard to play, in fact way to complicated, it took me over a year to finally complete all of the paths. None the less it has an amazing story, funny characters, Key's epic twists and all of the other things Key is known for times 100000.

Anime / Who are your favorite stoic anime characters?
« on: February 09, 2012, 04:54:22 pm »
Your favorite emotionless anime characters. Mine without a doubt is Mai Kawasumi from Kanon.

To give you some examples:
Anju Maaka (Karin Vampire)
Setsuna Kiyoura (Schooldays)
Hina Sakai (Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi)
