Guidelines to posting images (with resize)

Option 1:

(click to show/hide)Because the mods are herps derps, here is a simple guideline to posting images in original sizes but with "thumbnail" view for people with small screens:

First off, go to http://imgur.com and upload your image like you normally would.

Take a note of this link: http://i.imgur.com/RoFFU.jpg
This image is HUGE and obviously I can't post directly here (I need to resize). To do that, what you need to do is add 'l' (that's the letter 'L' in lower case) before the .jpg part (like this:)

* http://i.imgur.com/RoFFUl.jpg CORRECT
Use the changed link (with the letter 'L') and put it inside img tag like this:

Result:



And there you have it. You don't have to do some hocus pocus yourself or have to worry about resizing being correct and so on.

Finally, remember to put url tag around the image and make it point to the original size so people can view it in full size (like this:)

* Upload image to account on imgur.com.
* Click image.
* Click the right hand box and select large thumbnail.
* Copy and paste the bottom left link into forum.
* Worship France-tan.
