Clannad Man:
Doki Legion, we meet again.

So, some guys in the C-Box thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where they could laugh at the misery of others.  Therefore, Schadenfreude thread!  Links or stories welcome.

InfinityStream:
Immediate win for Clannad Man. http://Bash.org and http://fmylife.com are good places to consider for this.

From Bash.org

<DmncAtrny> I will write on a huge cement block "BY ACCEPTING THIS BRICK THROUGH YOUR WINDOW, YOU ACCEPT IT AS IS AND AGREE TO MY DISCLAIMER OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS WELL AS DISCLAIMERS OF ALL LIABILITY, DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL, THAT MAY ARISE FROM THE INSTALLATION OF THIS BRICK INTO YOUR BUILDING."
<DmncAtrny> And then hurl it through the window of a Sony officer
<DmncAtrny> and run like hell

From Bash.org

<Gwuffy> i found one mistake in harry potter 2 :)

And a witness to a rather funny moment. Walking in at the exact right (wrong) moment.

Guy 1: So, what do you think Zelda Four Swords is like?
Guy 2: It's probobaly really awesome.
*Girl walks in*
Guy 1: We need to meet up and bang the hell out of Link!
Guy 2: You wanna molest Link?
*Girl stares at the backs of Guy's 1 & 2*
Guy 1: Hell yea!

Being an objective viewer...

Clannad Man:
anyone here play fantasy sports?  No?

So I'm in my Fantasy Baseball Championship during the last day of play.  I have an All*Star roster put together, yet am still trailing by a hairline margin against my opponent.  As I check on my team during the evening, I see this:

Almost all of my players took the night off, hence the multitude of 'X' marks.  >:(  Seven months down the drain for nothing!

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn’t always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin or sunscreen to a student but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense took a turn for the worse as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; by his wife, Discretion; by his daughter, Responsibility; and by his son, Reason. He is survived by his four stepbrothers: I Know My Rights, I Want It Now, Someone Else is to Blame, and I’m A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
